Allies in Construction

Change is taking place in the construction industry that plugs the gap between owner vision and owner know-how. Knowledgeable persons with experience in the industry are being hired by owners to represent them in many ways. They are providing services, such as — conducting site selection and feasibility, drafting Requests and Proposals, hiring a reputable contractor, being directed to specialists, complying with government requirements, establishing community acceptance, acquiring permissions, previewing materials selection, requesting craftsmen, and interrelating with contractors on facilitation, documentation, technical information, and conflict resolution.

Allies in Construction (AiC) offers Owner Representation. We serve as intermediaries in all phases of construction. For our services to be most beneficial, an owner would bring us into their project at the pro-active stage — starting from Ground-Up — before anything has gone wrong. But that is not always possible. AiC accepts contracts when help is needed to get on track, move forward effectively and efficiently — even after trouble causes construction delays and cost overruns. As owner reps, we will focus on such things as schedules, quality, and costs for the entire project. Using our own customized management plan, In-Sync On-Site,® we manage bids, costs, and documentation. We track progress and inform decision-making as well as service delivery. We provide skills in communication, facilitation, organization, and coordination of vast amounts of data. These skills are used to inform key decision-makers.
